The 68 finalist photographers, revealed this morning, were among 508 from 16 countries who entered a total of 2288 nature and wildlife photographs across a range of categories.
The competition is run annually by the SA Museum, celebrating the natural heritage of the Australia, New Zealand, Antarctica and New Guinea bioregions. This year’s winners will be announced on August 23, the day before the exhibition opens at the museum.
