A record number of people went through the gates at Botanic Park over the long weekend for the 2016 WOMADelaide, with highlights including De La Soul, Asian Dub Foundation, Angelique Kidjo with the ASO and The Cat Empire.
The Friday-night line-up attracted a sold-out crowd, with the park reaching its capacity of 25,000 people. A festival spokesperson said a total of more than 95,000 people attended throughout the weekend, just eclipsing the record set in 2015.
