Rare photos illuminate Mawson’s Antarctic adventures

Rare Antarctic photographs and other artefacts from the collection of explorer Sir Douglas Mawson – including items from his expeditions and even a pair of well-worn socks – are currently on show at Michael Treloar Antiquarian Booksellers.

June 30, 2018, will be another “red-letter day” in the life of antiquarian bookseller Michael Treloar, with the closure of his Book Room in the Antique Market. But, as he tells Suzie Keen, he’s happy to give his full attention to his main passion.
