RCC open-air hybrid performance-training space The Stables has been created by Gravity & Other Myths to give Fringe-goers a rare look at the behind-the-scenes ‘grind and sweat’ that physical artists of all kinds thrive on.

After two years hosting big crowds at its North Terrace grounds during festival season, the University of Adelaide has pulled the plug on popular arts group RCC, saying it could not commit to further events due to the pandemic.
The RCC’s 2020 Adelaide Fringe line-up promises “strong themes of the New York underground, punk rock, feminist icons and contemporary queerness”, with shows by Laurie Anderson and Amanda Palmer and a beatbox take on Frankenstein.
