Adelaide entrepreneurs Stuart Duckworth and Tom Skipper have relinquished control of the Royal Croquet Club but the 2018 show will go on after the city council granted a five-year licence for a company – that does not yet exist – to run it instead.
The Royal Croquet Club will return to the Riverbank for the 2018 Adelaide Fringe with a full program of music, circus, theatre and comedy shows, despite suffering a financial blow after its parent company’s disastrous venture last year in China.
