Sydney-based independent curator and former actor Sebastian Goldspink has been announced as the curator for the 2022 Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art.
Samstag Museum director Erica Green has been appointed as curator of the next Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art in a move that seeks to “reinforce the strategic growth” of the event.
Guests at the opening of “Magic Object” at the Art Gallery of South Australia enjoyed a preview of the contemporary Australian art being exhibited as part of the 2016 Adelaide Biennial across five Adelaide galleries and museums until May 15.
Entrancing artworks ranging from paintings that look like books, to floral-art animals and a moving image made from watercolours will be on display at the 2016 Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art.
